My name is Anita Hutchings I am a Registered Childminder and a member of the NCMA (National Childminding Association).Hoe Farm Childminding is situated at Hoe farm, near Wheddon Cross on Exmoor, Somerset. I have lived here for nineteen years with my partner Peter, who is an agricultural contractor and my three children: Kieran; Georgia; and Callum.
My aims as a childminder are to provide children with a stable, loving and safe environment to play in and have fun. I would like all the children I look after to feel part of my family.
I provide varied activities including: indoor and outdoor play; local excursions; walks around the farm; and visiting local areas of interest. Parents are always asked for permission with relevant documentation.
I hope to provide opportunities for each child to learn and develop their full potential, and I encourage regular meetings with parents to discuss their child's development and well-being.
All children and parents will be treated with equal concern, and made to feel welcome in my home. I aim to offer a quality service for parents and children alike.
The care I provide for the children meets OFSTED's National Standards for Childminding and the Early Years Foundation Stages. I also have a food safety certificate, ICP (Introduction to Childcare Practice) training in early years childcare, and a St Johns first aid certificate (early years).
Above all I would like both parents and children to feel happy!
